To place an order from Canary Islands Press, you will need: 1) A valid email address
2) A Paypal account -OR- a valid credit card.* * You can complete the order process at Paypal without having an account, however it is easier with an account. With an account you can pay with a eCheck or Paypal funds. Or, you can order via postal mail: http://www.canaryislandspress.com/index.cfm/page/OrderbyMail Here are answers to common questions we receive: I) How does your order process work? a) Start by adding an eBook to your shopping cart.
b) Begin the checkout process, which will ask for your email address and other information so you can download your eBook from this site whenever you need.
c) At the end of the order process, you MUST CLICK the Pay with Paypal button.
d) Complete the payment process at Paypal.
e) Click the 'Return to Canary Islands Press' link when finished paying.
f) Pick up your eBook at the eBook Download Page. II) I ordered your eBook, but don't have a Paypal account. You must pay for your eBook through Paypal for our systems to send you eBooks (or else send your order in by mail). III) I ordered your eBook, paid with Paypal, but didn't get it emailed to me. eBooks must be downloaded, after Paypal payment is completed, at the eBook Download Page. The reason we do this is to give you the ability to download the book again from another computer and to avoid problems where spam blockers may stop the book from coming to you. eBooks automatically become downloadable once your order's associated payment is received. IV) I ordered your eBook, paid with Paypal, but it doesn't show up as downloadable. If your Paypal payment went through, you should have received a confirmation from Paypal. This payment receipt will have a transaction number associated with it. It is very rare (has only happened twice) that you will pay and our systems don't get the automated response from Paypal confirming this. If you believe you have successfully paid, and are unable to download your eBook, please email us with the Order # you placed and a copy of the Paypal receipt (forwarded). With this information we can manually complete your order. V) Paypal won't accept my credit card or thinks my payment may be fraudulent. Occasionally Paypal will not accept payment from one time use debit cards or other questionable payment systems. This may be due to the amount of fraud they see from a certain card issuer, or an inability to contact the issuers systems to confirm payment. We can not do anything about this, but recommend you use a different payment type (eCheck, Bank Account, another major Credit Card). |
